The PATVA Club meeting was held on Tuesday. March 7th, 2006.
The Club met at the Golden Corral in Roxboro,
NC. Fourteen members attended. Dale and Janet Morris of Durhan joined the Club at the February meeting. Ed and Philip Anglehart of Burlington
joined the Club during this meeting. Let’s everyone
WELCOME these four new members. We look forward to riding with you !
Club Vice-President – Jeremy
Underhill has resigned as Club VP due to personal reasons. John Honyoust was elected to complete
his term as VP. Congratulations John.
ELECTIONS – Speaking of elections, April is the month for our annual election of Club officers. If you desire or are willing to serve in any
one of the Club officer positions, PLEASE step up and let us know. Contact Kenny or any of the present board members, preferable
before the April 4th meeting, or even on the meeting night.
PATVA Club membership cards - All the
club members attending tonight’s meeting received
new CLUB membership cards. These cards identify us at sponsor’s business and entitle you to discounts offered by each. All club members who did not attend tonight
are encouraged to contact Bradley and make arrangements to get yours. Better
yet, attend the April meeting.
MARCH 5th – A group
“gathered” at Busco and rode. There were 15 in the group, which included some old and some 1st time
(with our group) riders. I hate that I missed it.
25th – The location
for this month’s club ride was not decided at the meeting. Check on the pro boards site for
a chance to vote on the location and details of the ride.
APRIL 4th
- As already mentioned, ELECTIONS will be held at the next meeting for
the coming year’s club officers. PLEASE make the effort to attend, so you can vote for whoever
you think will best guide the club or offer your own leadership.
28th thru 30th
– Will be the dates for the ATV Nationals race at Birch Creek Motor Sports Park near Danville
VA. One of our sponsors, Triangle Cycles of Durham and
Danville are also the sponsors of this event. They have requested Volunteers to
help with this event and we encourage you to help if you can. Contact Kenny or
Bradley for details.
MAY - 13TH We are planning to have a PATVA cookout ! This
is planned for this date but the date is not completely firm. John Honyoust has
agreed to have the event at his place. Watch the pro boards site for more details has we get closer to the event time.
DOOR PRIZES for tonight’s meeting were provided by: Mid-Carolina Power Sports, an equipment storage bag, won by Janet.
Triangle Cycles provided two caps, won by Tonya and Glinda. Congratulations Ladies, and a Special THANK YOU to our sponsors.
The April PATVA Club meeting is scheduled
for Tuesday, April 4th, 2006, at 7:30 pm at the
Golden Corral,
in Roxboro, NC, just off US
501 S. Please join us for a meal before the meeting and help elect next
year’s club board members.

The PATVA Club meeting was
held on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006.
The Club met at the Golden Corral in Roxboro,
NC. Eight members attended.
PATVA jackets –These are really
nice jackets and look GREAT. I’ve had mine for less than a week now and have only worn it 3 times and already four different people
have stopped me to
ask for information about PATVA plus a man from Greensboro who has ridden with
us in West Virginia ask when and where we were riding next. Contact Bradley

DECEMBER was
a busy month for our club.
10th was the date of the Grassy
Creek Christmas parade
10th was also the date of
the PATVA Christmas party which was held at Charles and Tonya’s house. I don’t remember the exact number, but
about 25 people attended and we enjoyed: Good Food, Good Company, Party Favors, and a relaxing atmosphere. THANK YOU, Charles and Tonya for your hospitality.
17th was the date of the Roxboro Christmas parade and we had a truck load riding
and throwing out candy and getting our Club name out front.
The Food collected by our Club and the
money provided by the Club was presented to the Roxboro Christian
Help Center.
They said to PLEASE Thank everyone for the much needed help and that it really helped several families have a better
Christmas.
Plans and actions are in process to provide
all our PATVA members with I.D. cards which will be good for discounts at select dealerships, most of which are ATV related.
JANUARY
28th Saturday.
The club ride for this month will be at BUSCO BEACH ATV riding area,
located near Goldsboro, NC. We are planning to start riding
at 9:00 am. They are Still opening up even more new trails.
I don’t think you can cover them all in a day……
DOOR PRIZES for this meeting were
provided by two of our sponsors.

and Danville donated a ball cap and a can of PRO PREP, which was won by Larry
D.
Mid-Carolina Power Sports of Burlington
donated a pair of Smith Goggles, which was won by John H. Congratulations
guys.
